Script Art Project

If you are looking for a non-cheesy  St. Patrick’s Day art project  and a piece that could be left up all year long, then this is for you.  This is super easy and script art project that you can do while watching your favorite show. It also does not cost much, which is always a bonus.

I used a white canvas board and primed it with white house paint.

Once the paint was dry, I measured and drew lines across the canvas board. To keep it simple, I made the distance between each line a rulers distance apart.

I don’t have pretty handwriting and I hold my writing utensils incorrectly, but that is one of the things that I have accepted about myself.  Anyway, in the act positive thinking, with a black sharpie I wrote “lucky” over and over on my lines.  Sometimes doing repetitive actions like this will calm me down. Sometimes I need to force myself to sit down and do an easy task.

About 3/4 of the way down with a gold sharpie I wrote ” Lucky Us”.

Once I was complete, I popped the Script Art project into a frame that I previously picked up from a thrift store.

It’s low key and easy on the eyes.
