Here is the thing, you do not need to spend money on holiday decorations. All you need is a vision. This is a great “Trash to Treasure” project. If you are a creative person, I am betting that you have some random supplies hanging around and taking up space in your home. I am about to show you an easy way to give a wooden board a new and “Festive” life.
This is not a full tutorial because it is sooooo simple. It all started with this random board that I found in my storage room. My husband loves to purchase random boards in the “as is” department at IKEA. We end up with A LOT of these.
I have used that this dirty board to paint objects on for about a year. I gave that bad boy a white wash and picked up some pre-cut letters from the craft store. I attached these letters using my glue-gun. That’s it.
So what do you think, pretty easy and rustic Christmas decoration, right? It always amazes me when I see signs like this one at shops selling for over $40. The only thing that I purchased were the letters, so this project cost less than $5.00.
