Don’t you love fall? It has always been my favorite season and my favorite season time of year to decorate. Today I will show you an amazingly easy and practically free fall decor art project.
Painted Leaf Art
On the way to the bus stop with my boys this morning I spotted some magnolia leaves on the ground. We collected the leaves for this project.
With copper spray paint, I coated all the leaves.
With acrylic black and white paint I embellished each leaf. This is the really fun part.
Using a tiny dab of hot-glue I attached fishing line to each leaf.
I attached the other end of the fishing line to a stick that I found in the backyard. I attached the twig to the wall using tiny nails.
So, what do you think? Are you heading outside and gather supplies for this easy DIY painted leaf art project? All you need are leaves, paint, a twig and fishing line to create this beautiful fall art.
