While packing, sorting and cleaning my current home I like to daydream about my new phantom home. We have yet to find our new home in Charleston and are not sure if we are going to rent or purchase. So, this home is completely fictional and keeping me from losing my mind.
My Fictional Home Tour
Come on in, and make yourself at home…. would you mind wiping your feet before you step inside?… it looks like you stepped in something.
I love a good 1950’s ranch. This home says I am warm and inviting and not too fussy. Please make yourself at home, but I have the cleaners coming at 3 so we need to wrap this up before then.
Here is my entry way. It is functional and stylish. The baskets are perfect for hiding transformers and toys when guest come by. One time I accidentally stuffed a lottery ticket in with the toys that could have set us for life. Whoopsie.
Found- Domaine Home
Sorry, you caught me in the middle of sorting my vegetables. We tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. My oldest son will sit on a stool and practice his “sight words” as I organize my pumpkin collection.
This is our youngest son’s room. He has the freedom to draw on the walls and work on his trigonometric identities.
Your feet are tired? Why don’t you prop them up and have a little rest in our living-room. You can go wrong with an Ikea sofa with two boys and lethargic guest in the house.
Take peak inside our bedroom. Yes, I love how the bold blue headboard stands out against the white wall too.
It is amazing how moving motivated me to become more organized. I even got the Hubs to perfectly wrap the garden hose.
Oh before you go, check out my tiny studio in the back. This is where I craft and work on my projects.
It is also a great for glamping. I hope you enjoyed my fictional home tour.
* This is not my home and only a figment of my imagination.
