I hope that you all had a great weekend. I also hope that you are ready for Father’s Day. We do not spend a lot of money for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day in our household. Usually we give a small gift, like the coveted Starbucks gift card, and then a handmade item.
A couple years ago my husband and then 3 year old son planted, cared for, and loved a garden on the side of our house. Unfortunately, we had a problem of little bunnies helping themselves to the fruits of my family’s labor. So, for Father’s Day Knox and I created a “scarecrow” as a Father’s Day gift.
That’s Knox and his “mean bunny” face above. The sign/scarecrow was a hit, not only with David, but with anyone who visited. I am not sure if it deterred any animals from helping themselves to our garden, but it made us all happy.

I will give you a hint on one of my ideas.. My Dinosaur Cufflinks would be a great Father’s Day DIY Gift.
Good luck making and shopping for the Big Poppa in your life.
