This is a fun and easy DIY Cufflinks Tutorial. Gifts for guys are hard. How many beard trimmers and wallets can one guy need? These cufflinks would make a great gift for any guy who likes to add a little flair to his business wardrobe.
My husband, David, is a stylish and playful dresser. He rarely wears a full suit, but when he does he always rocks some cufflinks. I wanted to make him some cool cufflinks this Valentines Day. These cufflinks would also make great a Father’s Day gift.
We have two little boys who love dinosaurs. If we had a family mascot this year it would most definitely be a stegosaurus or a T-Rex. I love Safari Ltd.’s miniature figurines. I picked up this pair of Dinosaurs from a local toy store.
My first step was to spray paint the little guys silver. I let them air out and dry overnight.
I picked up some cufflinks blanks from the craft store. With craft adhesive I attached the cufflinks blanks to each dinosaur toy. I let the adhesive set for about 12 hours.
I think that they turned out great and so did my husband. He wore the cufflinks today and rocked them. Even our 5 year old, who could care less about “Dad’s gift from Mom” thought they were cool. This is a simple way to create a personal and fun gift for a guy in your life. Give it a try!
