Tried and True Crock-Pot Dinner Recipes

I am a big fan of the crock-pot and use it year round. As soon as the temperature starts to dip below 68, I put it to even more use.  I love slow cooking meals. That said, I am weird about  the smell of food being cooked all day in my house. I usually cook with my crock pot on my porch…. I know, I know I am sure that I am not supposed to do that. Don’t worry, I frequently check on it. All this winter I will be out there making one of these crock-pot recipes.

Tried and True Crock-Pot Dinner Recipes

So first let me make it clear that these are dishes that I have made over and over again….and I love them.

Tried and True Dinner Recipes by Paper and Fox

Crock-pot Chicken Chili

Crock-pot Chicken Chili  is what my family had last night for dinner. It is really easy and never a disappointment. Like all chili it is even better the next day.

Crock-pot Balsamic Pork Tenderloin

Another Paper & Fox family favorite is this Amazing Balsamic Pork Tenderloin. Man… this one is really fantastic and the balsamic juice is almost drinkable.

Crock-pot Roasted Chicken

Up until this Roasted Chicken in a crock-pot recipe you would not have seen me handle a whole chicken. Even though I am sharing a lot of meat recipes, I am weird about handling meat. I put on some surgical gloves for this bad boy, but it was worth it.

Crock-pot Kale & Butternut Squash Soup

Crock-Pot Kale & Butternut Squash Soup is a dish that I make over and over during the fall and winter.  This is a dish that I literally feel vitamins dance around in my mount with every bite.

Crock-pot Pot Roast

I couldn’t forget the winter staple of crock-pot Pot Roast. This is a perfect  meal for cold  nights while wearing leggings and a hoodie.

So there you have it… these are the meals my family and I will be devouring this fall and winter. What are some of your favorite crock-pot dinner recipes? I would love some more recipes to try.

I thought I was the only weird one when it comes to cooking smells in the house! Ugh! Honestly unless I am outside of my house I don’t want to smell food in my house! Yech! These recipes look awesome!

Heather… cooking smells seep into my clothes, hair and skin. I can’t get past it. Crockpot on the porch is the only way my family will get homemade meals.
